Welcome to B.A.G. Travel! My name is Michael Henderson, and I am the founder and CEO of B.A.G. Travel, a premier group travel consulting firm specializing in crafting immersive and transformative travel experiences.

With over 40 countries explored and a reputation as the go-to “booking friend,” I turned my passion for travel into a career by founding Bag & Go Travel (bagtravel.net) in 2021. My goal? To leverage the “other” side of the travel business to create seamless, unforgettable journeys.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, I bring a unique perspective to trip planning, thanks to my Master’s in Urban Planning from USC. Some of my favorite cities include Tokyo, Hong Kong, Cape Town, Vancouver, and Berlin—each inspiring my approach to crafting personalized adventures. Beyond travel, I’m a proud Lakers fan, hiking enthusiast, amateur photographer, and once even ran a debate forums website!

My academic journey began with a degree in urban planning, where I developed a keen interest in how people interact with their environments. This foundation provided me with a unique perspective on travel, focusing on destinations and the cultural and social dynamics that define them.
