CHIANG MAI CAD KHOM LOY SKY LANTERN FESTIVAL 2024 Yi Peng Festival - November 15, 2024 ITINERARY: 15:30: Meet at your designated pick-up point based on your ticket: Maya Shopping Mall (Fountain Area) 15:30-16:30: Shuttles run every 5 minutes to the venue. The last shuttle departs at 16:30. 16:30-18:30: Arrive at the venue, show your e-ticket, and receive your badge and souvenir. Enjoy snacks, arts & crafts, tribal village tours, and floating your Loy Kratong. 18:30-20:00: Indulge in a delicious Thai Lanna buffet dinner with snacks, desserts, and non-alcoholic beverages. 19:30: Enter the ritual area in front of the pagoda. 19:40: Enjoy the drum and candle show, followed by a religious ceremony with monks chanting. 20:15: Release your lanterns into the sky and enjoy a fireworks display. 20:45: End of ceremony and return shuttle to the city. DROP-OFF: Maya Shopping Mall INCLUDED: - Entrance to the ceremony - VIPs get a great seat in zone 12-20 rows closer to the stage than the standard zone. - Lanna Thai buffet dinner (non-alcoholic beverages included) - Souvenir: hand-painted item and small bag - (2) Lanterns and 1 Kratong per person - Participation in shows and activities - Shuttle transportation between meeting points and the venue NOT INCLUDED: - Personal transportation to the meeting point. HOW TO GET YOUR TICKETS? Your E-Ticket will be emailed to you within 24 hours of booking. DRESS CODE: Please wear respectful clothing. Acceptable options include long pants or shorts that cover the knees, polo shirts, or t-shirts that cover the shoulders. No tank tops, please. You are also welcome to wear traditional Lanna Thai clothing if you prefer! HOW TO LAUNCH A LANTERN? Don’t worry! A demonstration on stage will show you exactly how to safely launch your sky lantern. WHAT TO BRING? - A marker pen if you’d like to write your name or a message on your lantern. - A camera to capture the beautiful moments. - A light jacket, as the November evening temperatures will be around 15-20°C. - Note: Outside lanterns are not allowed. ** IMPORTANT NOTICE ** The organizer is not responsible for unforeseen events beyond our control, such as heavy rain, floods, earthquakes, government-ordered delays/cancellations, or forest fires. In the event of heavy rain, they may wait for the rain to stop and resume the event if possible. NO REFUNDS.
